Rating

Information on www.japanesebonds.de are in essence more structural background information. Therefore the rating used on bonds is more a long term view on the soundness of the company and related to the question, if there is a 'default risk' on this company. In order to reflect this an 'traffic ligh system' was choosen. 'Green', 'Yellow' and 'Red'. 'Green' means no problem and a recommendable paper. 'Yellow' a decision has to be made, if the debt of the company can be paid back or in case of equity the share would be better sold. In case of a 'Red' the bond or equity should be sold immediately.
